Materials You’ll Need
Here are the supplies you’ll need to stitch your candy cane ornament:
- 14-count Aida cloth
- DMC embroidery floss
- Embroidery needle
- Embroidery scissors
- Embroidery hoop
- Backing fabric, felt, or cardstock for finishing
- Ribbon or twine for hanging
You can also use a different count of Aida if you’d like to change the finished size of your ornament. Just keep in mind that changing the fabric count will change the finished dimensions.

Finishing Your Candy Cane Ornament
